Once I met an obnoxious lady who always wears a babushka on her head.
She wants to make rapport with us but she gets in an affray instead.
Some says she’s a faitour, bragging ’bout how affluent she is.
Some avoid her like she’s a wraith appearing before the mists.

So my friends and I made an assemblage, thinking ’bout becoming a sleuth.
We want to know that lady’s background without getting conspicuous.
And a rendezvous for those taking part was made under a big chandelier.
There were so many people who joined so this group became superfluous.

This is piffle but we ate parfait and I don’t know why.
Maybe the crowd got rambunctious ’bout the things flying by.
But after some talk, the people acquiesce easily.
I guess they also want to have a surveillance of the lady.

And then we found out, her grandfather’s part of the papacy.
Her father, as we see, is a punctilious assignee.
Her mother is uncouth but she is a good buffoon.
You can’t feel ennui if you’re with these people of opposite personalities.

After the mission, I arraigned those who had participation.
My friends and I made a unanimous decision.
I guess we misinterpreted that lady’s actions.
So we jumped straightly to ridiculous conclusions.

Now, to the claque we hired for this performance,
Make sure to clap with so much exuberance.
Because this is the end of the story,
A story about a misjudged lady.
